Thank you to Hawk at KXLY 4 News for taking his time to come out and toure Blessings Under the Bridge's new HUB. What a blessing this new chapter will be for our mission. Thank you Valley Christian School - Spokane Valley, WA for working with us in our time of need. We look forward to our new relationship.

For our fans and friends,
please visit our Go Fund Me page to support and help BUTB with our move expenses, material costs, and needed supplies. Also, if you are able to help with our New HUB wishlist please email Jessica @

Our goal is to be up and running at 100% by June 1st without missing one Wednesday night feed where we serve about 300 + of Spokane's homeless and struggling friends.

UPDATE:This weekend we broke ground into our new HUB. We unpacked some loads, organized shelves, knocked down walls and painted room after room. Over the next week we will continue to move over more things, finish painting, organize our new space and make this our own.

I had the pleasure of having our first follow up on our new pilot program. Blessings Under the Bridge and “Beyond” that kicked off in May, with the amazing duo Principal Laura Lindley and Assistant Principal Jennifer Chase.

It was such a bitter sweet blessing to hear how the items are being utilized and just how many students are in need. We are working together to make this more efficient and truly be able to help these crucial age middle school students and families as much as we can.

In August we will organize and fill the new built clothing area so it’s ready for the students in Sept.
Biggest needs that they noticed the students requested? Grab and go items.
These young ones are hungry.

How can you go
“beyond” your own blessings and give and help? Here is a list of what you can donate.

Single size grab and go items    |    Bottled water    |    Feminine products
Canned or dry food items    |    School supplies    |    New or gently used shoes/clothing

If you would like to donate, drop off items directly to Bowdish.

This last year, our dear friend and talented local artist Christy Lee wrote and recorded "A Blessings Under the Bridge (Homer's Song)" to share the story of one man's journey back home after living on the streets for 25 years and to support the mission to serve the homeless.

Please take a min and download this song on iTunes. It will be the best 99 cents you've ever spent and a true blessing to many others like Homer that still find themselves under our bridge!

Soon to be announced!

I am truly blessed I was able to sit down with the vibrant and spirit filled Lorenda Rae Edwards on her show, that will air sometime next week onShine 104.9.

I just sold my 100th one yesterday.
The support and feed back has been overwhelming. I’m Truly humbled 😌 If you would like to purchase a copy for $15 email me. Thank you Kim Kramarz for purchasing the 1st one and Doug for the 100th.               -Keep Shining ☀️                    -Jess

With a 2 year process of meetings, planning and excitement with Molina, it was so humbling and overwhelming to see this finally come to life. President, Peter Adler, a man with a great heart served at the summer event in 2016. His words were, “I left impacted, and woke up a changed man”!

Here is what is even better! They will accept all types of medical plans, they have a system they can tap into nationwide. We can also embrace other medical support. Their hearts are 100% for those in need. Just as Dr. David Molina’s Hearts mission was when it was founded. ~ Simply beautiful! This goes live Aug 22nd! Yay!!

Thank you so much Molina Healthcare! Bless you all. Thank you Peter for following your heart and bringing Blessings to our community, our friends and most of all bringing “Blessings” Under the Bridge.

Thank you so much to Rebecca with the The Spokesman-Review for covering this story.

I’m excited! God thank you so much. You are showing off!  🙌🏻 💪🏻

Lavender Festival 2019

Thank you Spokane Regional Health District
(Torney Smith, Mike Riley, and Kim Kramarz), Molina Healthcare (Peter Adler), Microsoft for this amazing gift to bless our homeless and struggling friends on the streets of Spokane.

Very soon this bus will be equipped with laptops from Microsoft and a comfortable seat to relax in to take care of business.
With our
new mobile network hub (internet cafe), our homeless friends will be able to connect with family, fill out job applications and resumes, use email, and much more.

The BLESSINGS PORTAL will be another medium of HOPE for our struggling friends in our community.
Tis the season for a reason to bless others.

This was our 5th year for BUTB and Hoops for the homeless. We’ve shared with you our fans and supporters all the victories and testimonies of Kevin’s journey the past few weeks. If you missed it just scroll through our feed page here on Fb for more backstory.

As the
first homeless basketball team to play in Hoopfest history. Today, our team received the “green paper”.The Consolation bracket championship. It was just an added bonus as the real prize was celebrating the journey of a man that was once homeless 5 years ago. Kevin, who has played on our team year after year while overcoming obstacles and then having him sponsor our team from his own business that he has started was a true honor.

See the BUTB Video for more on our team and Kevin’s story right here...
